Kriti Sanon fails to impress in this monochrome top and pencil skirt
Kriti Sanon mostly loves to carry off the cute next-door-girl look while making a public appearance. However, the actor has been experimenting with her style off late. From turning heads on the ramp to making a stunning appearance at award shows, she can pull off both chic and trendy and ethnic outfits. Now, for her latest look at a golfing event in Pune, the ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ star was seen in a chic and elegant outfit.
The 27-year-old wore a black-and-white polka dot top from H&M that had a big bow detailing, and paired it with a grey checkered pencil skirt. Styled by Sukriti Grover, she opted for simple black pumps with the attire.
While the top and the skirt look great if wore individually, we felt that the bow and the tie knot detailing of the high-waist skirt made it look a little cluttered. However, it was carried well by the Raabta actress by keeping it simple and accenting it with just diamond studs.
With red lips, dark winged liner and muted make-up, she looked lovely. But the highlight of the look was the hair styled by Aasif Ahmed in an uber cool chignon ponytail with a new twist to the oriental Samurai bun.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen the hairstyle. Deepika Padukone’s tresses were styled in a similar fashion way back in February for the Beijing premier of her big Hollywood debut, ‘xXx: the Return of Xander Cage’. Hairstylist Christian Wood worked his magic on Padukone’s hair in a neat knot and it wonderfully complimented the Ralph Lauren white dress with a flowing train
We think too many good elements ruined Sanon’s look and couldn’t get an extraordinary style in totality. What do you think? Tell us in comments below.
